What is sin?

“Everyone who commits sin also breaks the law; sin is the breaking of law.”
— 1st John 3:4

Answer:

Sin is anything a person thinks, says, or does that is contrary to how God tells us to live.

Anything that is not done as an act of faith or for the glory of God is sin. Every sin deserves God’s punishment.
