What is sanctification?

“Some of you were like this; but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

When a person is born again, he or she is set apart from everything else for God. This begins a process of growing toward spiritual maturity through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives inside us.
